Speak English, if you can ! [ Cassy and Jude ]

Cassy wanted to go for a walk in Central Park, this famous Park of the Big Apple. She was in a good spirit because there was sun und the sky was blue. She followed the way but in the grass there was someone she knew. She approached him. There was Jude ! She was intrigued by him. The pretty girl always want to know the Culture of the young man. Even if she is shy, she decided to talk to him. This was a good opportunity ! She sat near of him. She grimaced because the grass was damp. Jude did not move. Cassy touched his shoulder. Jude tourned to her. He looked suspicious. Cassy regretted quickly. But now she was there, so she could not go back ! She forced to smile, a little embarrassed. She don't knew what she could say. She prefered to wait for a little help of the chinese. The time was very long for the Lady of the fraternity Alpha. The sun reached the zenith so Cassy was hot. A group of kids ran near of them, they looked happy.

[HRP : Bon, bah voila : enfin ! J'ai pas compté mais ça m'a pris largement plus d'une heure pour rédiger ces deux paragraphes minables, le nez rivé sur le dictionnaire, et sur mes fiches de grammaire. xDD En espèrant que ça te convienne. =3 Je mets en spoiler à la fin les mots de vocabulaire que j'ai cherché et je le regroupe selon les paragraphes pour que ça t'évite de le faire. En gros, je mets la moitié du texte en spoiler... xDD *sort*]

It was a sunny afternoon this day, so Jude had thought it will be a good idea to take advantage of this gorgeous weather. He’s been lying down on the grass for one hour, his earphone on his head, his eyes closed, and his face hided by his black cap. Doing nothing, just listening music, let the wind caress his cheek and his worries blow away : it was so restful. He would want to stay there like that for a few hours but he didn’t know when his class took up again. He just hoped that he didn’t have class by the middle of the afternoon – the better would be that he didn’t have class at all, but shush, I don’t tell you anything !

He thought that he would be quiet and on his own all the day, so he was really surprised when he felt someone touching his shoulder –even if his surprise didn’t appear on his face, in fact, he lifted one of his brow, but I remind you of his face was hide, then his expression can’t be seen. He took off his cap, and turned to the person who had touched him. In front of Jude, there was a young woman sat near him. When she saw him, she stood rigidly, seemed embarrassed. After a moment, she smiled a little, without any sincerity. He looked at her, without understand. Seeing she didn’t be able to talk, he observed her until she’ll react.

« Mmh ? What’s the matter ? »

He felt he won’t spend his afternoon just listening music now…

The girl decided to answer quickly. She breathed deeply and got involved :

- I'm Cassy , er Cassy Went. I studie at Great academy, like you if I don't make a mistake.

She made a pause. She felt a little ridiculous. In what it could interest Jude ? Regardless of wether or not it interest his interlocutor, she continued :

- I'm very curious, so I would like learn a little about you. She hesitated, and then added : If you are agree ...

She tried to guess what meant the expression of the Delta : He frowned.
The Alpha felt she was not welcome, but leave when she disturb somebody is not one of his habits.

Il faudrait au moins répondre dans le jour ou les deux jours qui suivent sinon ça servira à rien... xDD J'essaierais de faire des efforts, promis. >< Et là ma meilleure amie, donc mon dictionnaire personnel d'anglais et correcteur, était à côté de moi donc ça aide un peu. Même si je trouve quand même mon poste minable, j'fais rien avancer. u.u]

There is some days where we can have chance, but many times we are able to notice that chance is often in coffee break. Jude was thinking about that. Moreover, he hoped that coffee break wouldn’t lastill- long. The young woman looked like really embarrassed, but the Delta didn’t understand why she seemed ill-at-ease. When she breathed deeply, he was more and more thinking that he had been right. She told to him quickly after he asked her :

« I’m Cassy, er… Cassy Went. I study at Great Academy, like you, if I don’t make a mistake. »

« Yes, it’s right, he just say. »

Jude was intrigued by her words. How could she know that he was a student at Great Academy ? Okay, he met many people during one day, but he had arrived lately. Furthermore, he didn’t remind seeing her. He looked at her and thought now he would pay attention to what she would say.

« I’m very curious, so I would like to learn a little about you. »

She couldn’t be a voyeur – not a fan, not yet, not so quickly –, could she ?

« If you agree... »

Nooo~o ! She asked him his permission. What a surprise ! She probably just wanted to know how to cook rice. If she was really a voyeur, his retaliation would be awful. He turned his black eyes on her and observed the young woman. No, her question didn’t seemed so nasty.

« Mmh… And, what do you want to know, little girl ?, he say with a little smile. »

He never knew what to expect with her, so he just looked at her, both amused and suspicious – his comportment with people that he didn’t know really, especially with people he had never seen before.

The Alpha wondered why she could not get back on the top while usually she knew so well pretend to master the situation. She admitted that Jude was still intimidating. His reactions were always unforeseeable. She didn't knew what to answer when his interlocutor ask exactly what she expected of him. She doesn't want to make herself out to be a psycopathe. She decided to answer honestly, because after all she doesn't bear malice to him.

- Well it's just that you intrigued me. It is surely a bad thing but I'm very curious. When I see you sitting in the grass, I thought it was a good opportunity to try to talk to you. Maybe I was wrong to disturb you, and if so don't hesitate to tell me.

The young girl had pronounced her words in a soft voice to prove her sincerity. After talking she tried to understand what his expression mean. He was clearly still on one's guard. She waited patiently for an answer, trying not to regret her intrusion.

The only word whom haunted him this time was just : “Why ?” Why had she choose to traumatize him among the lot of strange guys who were studying at Great Academy ? Why could this afternoon not be quiet as he wanted to, on his own, lying down the grass at Central Park, listening music ? Why did this girl seem so shy if she wanted to come up to someone ? There are always plenty of questions whom will never have answers.

Whereas this young woman was able to give to him one answer – a good start I think, isn’t it ?. Jude, his eyes fixed one’s attention on her, waited for what she will say, more patient and coolness that he’ve ever been.

« Well… It’s just that you intrigued me. »

We could have expected many arguments to justify her attitude. All, but not this one ; anyway, Jude thought so. He cant’ hide his surprise, as a result, he lifted up clearly his head and looked at her as she became ET – or a member of ET’s family, I think we can’t see any difference. He had nothing interesting ! The only thing whom could interest her would be his native country, but this is just a detail, and only ONE thing !

« It is surely a bad thing but I’m very curious. »

« I had notice this detail, but it’s nice to you to informe myself… »

« When I had seen you sitting in the grass, I thought it was a good opportunity to try to talk to you. »

Did she only want to discuss ? A little voice told him that she coul want more than a banal conversation ; but, if this voice said the true, what did she want, then ? This is a mystery. Only she could tell us her really intentions.

« Maybe I was wrong to disturb you, and if it’s the case, don’t hesitate to tell me. »

« ‘Maybe’, it’s right. » Jude sighed inwardly. She didn’t seem so nasty at all. Even if curiosity is a bad defect, it isn’t a thing we can get rid of. If she seemed sincere in her words, she seemed a little frightened too, like if Jude turned into a monster. Did he so intimidating ? In fact, he could be shy too, couldn’t he ?

« Oh, he just say. »

It’s not with that they could advance the conversation, but who wanted to discuss at all ? Furthermore, the Delta seemed a little unconcerned about the scene. He lifted his head, and glanced at the Park. When his dark brown eyes finally came to rest on her, he spoke.

« Until now, I was unaware of that I could be intriguing. Mmh, say what you want to know : I’ll tell you. »

Still, it’ll depend of her question, but this detail is so sensible, that he didn’t clarify.

« I prefer you ask me. It’s not like me telling my life. He added in a low voice, with a little smile. Above all with people I don’t know… »

Cassy tried to remember when she decided to talk to this young boy. She used to be curious, but not to come up to people just because she was intrigued. She had to think about a question she could ask to Jude. She had no idea to beggin a conversation. She asked only simply questions :

- To wich fraternity belong you ? What do you study ?

Seeing the face of Jude after have posed these first two questions, she hastened to add :

- I know it's rather null ... But it's a beggining.

Waiting Mister decide to answer, she glanced at her watch, an original of Guess.The hands showed 15 h 30. The sun was perhaps coming, who knows ? Even if Cassy was ridiculous, she might at least won a free tan.

It seemed like an eternity was pass during which the disruptive element thought about ~~her way of torturing the poor Chinese~~ the first question she could tell to the young man. She reflected, he waited for her ; all of this could last for a long time. If she wanted to prolong the agony, the only pleasure was for her.

« To which fraternity do you belong to ? What do you study ? »

“You are the weakest link, bye bye !” Do she only have common sense ? Curently, it seemed like she doesn’t have anymore. Honestly, when this is the first time you meet (fortunately, or unfortunately, the answer isn’t here for the moment) someone, do you really use to ask what’s the job of the person ? Do you really want to know if he or she sleep with a teddy bear or had already have chickenpox ? No, of course. Normaly, the first question would be : “What’s your name ?”, but this girl really seemed to function upside down. It’s the just my thought, not the one of Jude. But, confess that I am right, am not I ?

At this moment, Jude would want to think « Just that ? », whereas, after all, he was felled better. One part of him expected questions more… strange. Seeing his face, she anticipated a little his reaction – and may be misunderstand his ambiguous face’s expression – and added hurriedly :

« I know it’s a rather null… but it’s a beginning. »

The little girl is right, she have to begin by something. Those one or other, what could it change ? Not much thing. He just answered, with the detachment he seemed have in all the situation :

« I’m a Delta and I study dance. »

~~And he’s not an homosexual.~~

Then, seeing she looked at her watch – like if she’s annoyed, but who had want to begin this conversation ?! – and showing his gallantry and his courtesy, he added :

« And you ? »

And to think that Jude, the less talkative person of both of them, was the one who took great care of keeping going the discuss !...
